I met Chris and Chantelle one evening at Tim Horton’s and I knew instantly I was going to enjoy their engagement session. They were relaxed and easy going, and had a very sweet proposal story. I knew Chantelle through mutual friends, but I had never met Chris. He had a quiet presence about him, but a mischievous yet shy smile.
Their “Adventure Bucket” of date ideas was very cool, and since it was part of the proposal, of course it would need to have a role in their session.
The day of their session was FREEZING (okay, BELOW freezing, we’re talking -20s CELSIUS). February in Alberta, hey? In between photos we ran inside to warm up and get the blood flowing again. Thankfully we were able to capture a few photos inside Chris’ truck to warm up too! Despite the cold, the snow the week before made for a gorgeous backdrop…
I love it when clients are up for experimenting a bit too. We used the truck to pull off some cool reflections, culminating in a favourite image too:
Congratulations Chris and Chantelle! Thanks for being such good sports about the weather. I’m looking forward to May 🙂
